Phase I and II Wheel Throwing - Age 18 and above only.

- Our scheduling page shows up to 28 days of availability and all bookings are on-going on a first come first serve basis through the 3rd party online booking system thus studio is unable to guarantee any individuals and/ or groups available seats (especially weekends) on a specific class slot. Your kind understanding is greatly appreciated.

- We are unable to accept / promise requests from any individual who wishes to complete the 10 lessons within a short period due to the long process of ceramic making and slow drying nature of clay.

This course provides an introduction into basic techniques and knowledge involves in the practice of studio ceramics. Through the hands-on sessions that are design to impart production approaches, learners will have the chance to experience and acquire knowledge in the aspect of wheel throwing. Upon completion of the course, learners will understand the entire process of turning clay into ceramic, and acquire the ability to produce ceramic objects that are aesthetically appealing.
- Each learner: 10 lessons (per phase)
- 3 hours per lesson
- Inclusive of 10 kg clay, 1 personal tool kit* and unlimited usage of house glazes for each learner. (*For 1st time registrants only)
Class Schedule:
Phase I
- Wednesday 7pm - 10pm
- Saturday 10am - 1pm
- Sunday 10am - 1pm | 2pm - 5pm
Phase II
- Wednesday 7pm - 10pm
- Saturday 10am - 1pm
- Sunday 2pm - 5pm

- This course consists a total of 2 phases. Learners may choose to sign up a single phase of 10 lessons first. Please ensure that the correct phase is selected during checkout.
- This is an ongoing class and all classes are conducted in small groups which allow us to provide personal attention to the learners.
- Each learner will be given a structural program to follow through the whole course in order for us to monitor the pace and progression of each individual.
- Please bring along the tools if learner already own a set.
- Pre-Requisite for Phase II: With prior wheel throwing experiences on basic forms (cylinder, bowls and plates.)
- Any class booked and unattended will be forfeited.
Terms and Conditions:
- Validity of course - 120 days from date of enrollment (Learners may attend more than one lesson each week)
- Fee applies for all additional validity extension.
- *Flexible class slots booking. However, booking is required and on first come first serve basis and subject to availability. Booking of class slot is only available upon successful online enrolment.
- All additional materials and firing charges are not included.
